In 1519 Hernando Cortes invaded the land we now know of as Mexico. He had only 500 men and a few horses and cannons,  yet defeated the Aztec Empire which at the time had at least a million people. What was his secret weapon? A 17 year old slave girl named La Malinche. The least known heroine in history. This is her story.
